Technical guidance for using this website

BASRT recognises the importance of providing a website that is inclusive and available for as many user groups as possible. We have tried to develop the BASRT website to be as accessible as possible.

The website is optimised to work best for screens 1024 × 768 and above, with JavaScript enabled.

The website is structured with the main content areas such as About BASRT, Our Therapy, Membership and Links which are navigable by the primary navigation on the top with any secondary navigation displayed on the left of the page.

Links to the Site Map, Accessibility and Privacy policy pages are located in the footer navigation.

System Requirements

Most content on this website is available in HTML as well as PDF. To download articles as PDF you will need to install Adobe Reader. A free version of Adobe Reader can be downloaded from the Adobe website.

We strive to comply with the W3C WAI's Web Content Accessibility Guidelines and aim for our pages to conform to W3C Level AA compliance.

All pages use well-structured semantic markup compliant with XHTML 1.0 Transitional. For example, h1 tags are used for main titles and then h2, h3 used for subtitles.
